WELCOME
The Beachweavers Basket Guild was founded as a non-profit organization to preserve the art of basketry in a traditional sense and in new ways to create vessels for use and display.
Its mission is to promote awareness, inspire creativity, foster appreciation for the heritage and artistry of basketry, establish bonds of friendship among the members of the basketry community, and create basket projects to benefit schools, VA Centers, nursing homes, and hospitals.
Through the Guild of Basketmakers, new skills and traditions are passed on to the next generation.
Beachweavers Basket Guild (BBG) is open to weavers of all levels, ages 18+. We focus on learning new skills, monthly projects, community outreach, and friendship.
BBG welcomes new weavers at any time. Try one of our meetings.
